EZ-LINK KVM Operation Introduction

Installation
Plug in KVM power adapter to turn on your KVM, buzzer sound and channel 1 red LED actively.
Connect device and PC/Slave KVM (Daisy chain)

Operation
Press the front panel button to select the PC and operate it, and then select the PC channel from the hot-key or OSD operation.

Hot-Key and OSD Introduction

Call OSD Menu (OSD model only)
Press <Scroll Lock> key twice and <Space Bar> and <Enter>, and then the OSD "Main Menu" will be shown on the screen.
(Or: after < Scroll Lock > twice and press <Enter> directly)

Channel Select
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice and channel number (1 to 16) then press<Enter>
OSD: Use up/down arrow , <Enter>, and then select it directly

Auto Scan
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice, and then <S> and <Enter>
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu" and then press <F2>

Buzzer Sound On/Off
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice, and then <B> and <Enter>.
The buzzer sound will be on/off alternately.

Hot-key Change
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice, and then <K> and <Enter>. The hot-key will be changed to <Caps Lock>.
If hot-key is <Caps Lock>, press <Caps Lock> twice, <K> and <Enter>, the hot-key will be changed to <Scroll Lock>.
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu", and then press <F1> to go to setup mode and select hot-key change.

Daisy Chain Layer Change (Channel Change )
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice, <D>, <Number> (channel 1 to 16) and <Enter>. (you can select layer 3 directly)
Ex: D3D5D12, Layer1 channel 3 links to layer 2, then from layer 2 channel 5 to select to layer 3 channel 12.
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu" ,then select the channel, and press <Enter> layer by layer.

Function for OSD Model Only

Setup Mode
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu", then press <F1> to setup.
Setup function will be including: <Scan Mode>, <Scan Time>, <Banner Position>, <Banner Time>, <Main Menu Position> and <Hot-key Change>.

PC Rename
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu", then press <F4> to edit PC's name. (Maximum. 15 characters)

Turn on the Security Lock Function
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu", then press <F5>, enter the Password (Default password: 1234), and go to the Security Setup (ON/OFF, User Name, Password).
Security Mode selects "ON", and then <F3> Lock function is active.

Console Lock ( F5 Security Mode must be turned on firstly)
Hot-key: Press <Scroll Lock> twice, then <H>, and <Enter>, and the console will be locked until Unlock.
OSD: Call OSD "Main Menu", and then press <F3> .
(After Console is Locked, the banner will show the following messages: Security Mode Protected !! )

Console Unlock
Hot-key: Press any key according screen message key in User Name and Password, the KVM and console device will be unlocked and go back to normal operating status.

Default User Name and Password
Default User Name: ADMIN, Password: 1234
Universal User Name: EZLINK, Password: LINK
(In case the user forgot his password setting)
